PROFESSIONAL CAREER

4 years as an Educational Psychologist for Kent County Council

12 years as an Educational Psychologist for Inner London Education Authority.

After taking further qualifications in adult intervention, psychotherapy, neurolinguistic programming and hypnosis, 15 years in private practice, treating children, adults and families.

Child, adult and family psychologist. Reports including for Court and legal purposes from 1998. Assessments of a wide range of psychological issues including educational, learning difficulties, personality, care and parenting issues. The majority of instructions are in Public Law matters. Some Private Law and Criminal Law work is also undertaken.

Treatment for a wide range of psychological difficulties in individuals and families.

 

OTHER INFORMATION

I have been a Consultant Psychologist to a child fostering agency which included education and therapy.

I have delivered adult education lectures on psychology.

I delivered the psychology component on the Health Visitors course at Mid Kent College.

I have held contracts with Health Authorities such as Bexley, Greenwich and Maidstone Priority Care Trust to act as consultant psychologist in general practice. I am therefore experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychological conditions.

I have acted as a Consultant Psychologist to a Probation Hostel.

I have extensive experience, over the last ten years, in child, adult and family related issues in clinical and legal contexts. I am currently completing about six reports per month on Child Care litigation issues, usually for Court purposes.

OTHER INTERESTS:

Electronic commerce, sport including rugby, squash, tennis, cricket, clay pigeon shooting, art, music, drama and literature.
