4 years as an Educational Psychologist for Kent County Council

12 years as an Educational Psychologist for Inner London Education Authority.

After taking further qualifications in adult intervention, psychotherapy, neurolinguistic programming and hypnosis, 17 years in private practice.

Child, adult and family psychologist. Reports including for Court and legal purposes. Assessments of a wide range of issues including educational, learning difficulties, personality, care and parenting issues. Also some criminal and personal injury matters.

Treatment for a wide range of psychological difficulties in individuals and families.

Other Information

I am a Consultant Psychologist to a child fostering agency which includes education and therapy.

I deliver adult education lectures on psychology.

I delivered the psychology component on the Health Visitors course at Mid Kent College.

I am a broadcaster on local radio on psychological issues.

I have held contracts with Health Authorities such as Bexley, Greenwich and Maidstone Priority Care Trust to act as consultant psychologist in general practice. I am therefore experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychological conditions.

I have acted as a Consultant Psychologist to a Probation Hostel.

I have extensive experience in child, adult and family related issues in clinical and legal contexts. I am currently completing about six reports per month on Child Care litigation issues, usually for Court purposes.

Qualifications and Experience

I am a Chartered Psychologist having a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master of Science in Educational Psychology, a Post Graduate Certificate of Education, a Diploma in Ericksonian Hypnosis, Psychotherapy and Neurolinguistic Programming (British Hypnosis Research). I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. I have worked in Local Authorities for seventeen years and in private practice for seventeen years.

I am an expert in the assessment of learning difficulties and offered high level diagnoses at the Ebury Centre, London for children with learning difficulties.

I have extensive experience and act as an Expert in child, adult and family related issues in clinical and legal contexts.

I am on The British Psychological Society register of Expert Witnesses.

I am an 'Expert Witness - Expert Consultant' vetted Expert.

I am currently completing about six reports per month on Child Care Litigation issues, usually for Court purposes and in the last year have completed sixty six reports in this context, referrals coming from a wide range of sources, the majority of which have been from firms of Solicitors and from Local Authorities. I also complete about two reports per month relating to criminal proceedings.

I have held contracts with Health Authorities such as Bexley, Greenwich and Maidstone Priority Care Trust as well as individual medical practices to act as a Consultant Psychologist over a wide range of clinical issues. I am therefore experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychological conditions.

In the last seventeen years in my private practice I have seen numerous children, adults and families with a wide range of clinical issues including educational, learning difficulties and personality difficulties as well as a significant number of cases concerning a full range of Care issues including abuse as well as parenting issues.

I am a Consultant Psychologist to a Child Fostering Agency which includes education and therapy. I am a member of the team of therapists for this organisation as well as offering educational assessments for children in Care.

I have acted as a Consultant to a Probation Hostel offering wide range assessments for young offenders.

I have worked closely with a wide range of Local Authority Agencies such as Social Services Departments, Child and Family Consultation Clinic and other Therapy Centres such as Speech and Language and Occupational Therapy.
